seriously.
not every bad thing that happens to good people (or even bad people) is because god’s mad at them. or their ancestors. or their ancestors ancestors.
during an interview on the Christian Broadcasting Network the day after the earthquake in haiti, televangelist robinson said “many years ago, the island’s people ’swore a pact to the devil.’ [...]

so there i was, at the doctor’s office. it’s the first part of the year, time to get the unpleasantness out of the way. i arrived a few minutes late, so i had to wait for about 10 minutes.
side-note - i love my doctor. not only is ten minutes probably the absolute longest i’ve ever [...]

the film has grossed millions - m-i-l-l-i-o-n-s!! doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a great film. but at least it’s popular. so the way i see it, if we’re gonna go sit through 2 hours and 42 minutes of what it supposed to be a “technological wonder” of a film, we may as well go all out.
